The first ever Speed-e-loans.com video competition has been won by Derby-based James McGovern, who submitted a video about spending £250 on plastic ducks!
The competition was launched in March, asking people to send in a short video describing what they’d do if they had £250 to spend right now.
Gary Miller Cheevers, CEO from the payday loans site said: “The video was clever, humorous and unusual – and we loved the array of plastic ducks!”
Commenting on his win, James said: “”I thoroughly enjoyed making my entry for the Speed-e-loans competition and I was even more delighted to hear that I had won. My inspiration came from the wacky collectors who regularly appear in the Guinness World Records, like the owner of the title for the largest rubber duck collection. It got me thinking about what would happen if one of these people won £250 … they would obviously spend it on their odd collections!”
